Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT)

Cone beam computed tomography is a medical imaging technique that render three-dimensional image of the patient jaw structures for more accurate diagnosis and treatment planning for dental implant procedures.

 

The CBCT images are taken in our office and takes only 15-20 seconds to acquire the image. Once the image is acquired, the anatomical data and ca be easily manipulated and viewed in the computer screen for accurate placement of dental implants.

 

No special preparation is needed for panoramic radiographs and CBCT. You will be asked to remove any jewelry, eye glasses, partial dentures, metal objects that might interfere with the radiographic image.
